Honour Roll of Mosman Residents who enlisted in World War II

About the Mosman WWII Honour Roll

In 1995 Mosman Council and the Mosman Returned Servicemen’s Club unveiled the Mosman World War II Honour Roll.

The Honour Roll listing over 650 names was an acknowledgement of those Mosman residents who enlisted in the Second World War.

The roll is on permanent display at the Mosman Returned Servicemen’s Club at 719 Military Road, Mosman and a copy is available for viewing in the Local Studies Collection at Mosman Library.

Help us build this site

In April 2010, on the occasion of ANZAC Day, Mosman Council published this website.

So far, only the names of Mosman residents have been digitised. In the Local Studies collection at Mosman Library, we have the forms that were submitted back in 1995 that provide details such as regiment and rank.

We’re looking for volunteers to help us transcribe these details.

In time we hope to link individuals with information at the World War Two Nominal Roll and records kept at the Australian War Memorial, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and other archives.

It will give us a more complete picture of the men and women of Mosman who enlisted for World War II.
